The Diablo Desert is near Fire Mountain and is also where Pilaf's Castle and the village controlled by Monster Carrot are located. One unique feature from the rest of the Dragon World is that many big mushroom trees grow in the desert. Be weary of thieves!

East City is one of the main capitals of Earth. The Orin temple also resides here, which is where Krillin once trained. The city was completely destroyed when Nappa launched a Bakuhatsuha shortly after reaching Earth with Vegeta, reducing the city to rubble. It should be noted that the inhabitants of this city were never revived by the Dragon Balls.

A tower high above the Earth, where the current gaurdian of the Earth, Dendai, keeps look over everything. Korrin also happens to live here, with theHyberbolic Time Chamber residing here as well.

Mount Paozu is the location at which Goku was raised by Grandpa Gohan, and is the location that the Dragon Ball story begins. Mt. Paozu is mostly known for various monsters that populate the area such as dinosaurs. The place seems to be more mountains than just one. This is where the Son residence resides.

Nicky Town is one of the various towns ransacked by Imperfect Cell during the Imperfect Cell Saga. Several of its inhabitants were absorbed by Cell, including a gunman and his family and many people in a restaurant. Before arriving to Nicky Town, Cell had already confronted a football team and absorbed all of them. The townspeople were presumably revived by the Dragon Balls after Cell is defeated by Gohan. In this case, they are all victims of Cell.

North City is a one of the large metropolis capitals of Earth and is surrounded by mountains and a forest beyond that, not much is known about North City except that Dr. Gero's lab is in the mountains South of it.

Papaya Island is is the location of the Tenkaichi Budokai, or World Tournament in the English dub. Goku first participated in the World Tournament during the 21st Tenkaichi Budokai, and whenever the arena was wrecked, it was usually done by a fighter who had Goku as their opponent: Tien wrecks the stage with his Tri-Beam Cannon move, and Piccolo ruins it with his increased size. Although there seem to be major threats occurring in the tournament, they still seem to be hosted.

Satan City was a city that was originally named "Orange Star City", but was renamed after Mr. Satan in commemoration of his supposed victory over Cell[suposivly]. Gohan went to Orange Star High School here and fought crime here on many occasions as his superhero alias the Great Saiyaman.

Skull Valley is a location just outside of Mount Paozu. The land is very normal but another part of it is a canyon full of bones and populated with carnivorous wolves.

South City was mentioned by Future Trunks to Goku of where the future battle with the Androids would take place. A large area of South City was turned into a wasteland by Android 20's eye laser. A news report mentions Cell attacking the city. Seismo Island is located nine miles southwest of this city.

This is where people with a better background and history go to when they die. It's a really great place, where heores and good people go and where they don't have to do anything but forget their worries. There are sometimes occasional fights held around in the arena every so often, held by the Grand Kai.

The planet known for being re-made - or wished back, really - after the battle between Frieza and Goku, and after it got blown up because of it. New Namek was made during the year waiting for Goku to return to Earth, and where all Nameks currently live unless they managed to get away from the planet.
