§ - MUST BE A PROBOARDS FORUM
§ - All Forums MUST Follow ProBoards TOS ~ All advertised forums must be in compliance with ProBoards Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
§ - Starting an Advert Thread ~ You may have one thread per forum, and each thread may only have one forum listed. The thread starter MUST be an admin or staff member of the forum being advertised, and will be allowed to appoint one additional person to help bump the thread if they so desire. Please note - if you are not listed as a bumper, do not reply to the thread.
§ - Easy to Read Thread Titles ~ All thread titles must: 1) Be clearly related to the subject matter of your forum; 2) Not contain any words with all CAPS; 3) Not contain extra punctuation, symbols, or characters that attempt to make a thread stand out; 4) Optionally you may include the name of one authorized user who may bump your thread by adding their username in [brackets]. Additionally, thread titles should not stretch board cells.
§ - Bumping Guidelines ~ No ghost bumping [posting, then deleting the post] allowed. Bumps are also now limited to once every hour, though you can wait longer if you desire. As a courtesy to other members, please wait until your thread has dropped to at least page two before bumping, though this is not required -- that said, excessive bumping is still not allowed.
§ - Advert Descriptions ~ Please only have one description (blurb) per page in your thread [eg: three pages, one blurb per page, totaling three blurbs]. This is as a courtesy to other advertisers so their threads will show up in search results as well. Just bump up your advert otherwise with a simple "bump" or other phrase. You may bump your thread with your URL as well, but please avoid using your forum name/subject, as a courtesy to other advertisers.
§ - Posting Graphics ~ If you choose to use a graphic in your advert, please keep it no more than 600 pixels wide, and 800 pixels high. If your graphic exceeds this amount we will ask you to resize or remove. Not doing so can result in a locked thread.
§ - Advert Limitations ~ Members may have a total of three adverts active at a time. Should you wish to add another advert, you must stop bumping one of your already active threads and allow it to drop to at least page two.
§ - Link Directly to ProBoards ~ Please link to your forum, not a 'main site' if you have one.
§ - Join For Joins, etc ~ Please do not post Join for Joins ["join my site and I'll join yours!"]. Also, do not offer staff positions to people just for joining. These actions are very risky and may result in someone you gave power to ruining all of your hard work.
§ - Do Not Ask For More Subboards ~ These are the current subboards; we may add more as necessary in the future, should we see an increase in forum genre that warrants an additional board to be added. Also, a note to RP advertisers: we have no plans at this time to add sub-sub-boards for various subgenres of RP forum [meaning no boards specifically for, say, Harry Potter, or Twilight, etc].
IF YOU FORUM DOES NOT FOLLOW ANY OF THESE RULES. YOUR LINK WILL GET REMOVED AND YOUR ADVERT TITLE WILL BECOME *LINK REMOVED*
